This W Type B Burst Pex Pipe is rated 1,100 psi at 73 Degrees Fahrenheit and 375 psi at 180 Degrees Fahrenheit. It has more anti-oxidants and thermal stabilizers than Type A, making it suitable for chlorine ratings and recirculation systems. Do not use duct tape, pipe dope, threading compound, or mineral/linseed oil. Support pipe every 30" vertically and horizontally, protect when entering/exiting slabs or walls, and avoid kinking or exposing to sunlight. Minimum clearance to water heaters, boilers, wood burning appliances is 18", recessed lights 12", and gas appliance vents 6".
